EYESTRAIN

Eyestrain is a symptom that usually bothers the eye when you are exposed to computer for too long. The eyes seem to be straining to see what they are trying to look at. After some time of doing this, you acquire a general feeling of eyestrain.



CAUSES

Fatigue
Poor diet
overwork
Drugs
Polluted Air
City living

Remedies

1)Try not to use computers too long,watching television too long is also not recommended. Shade screen by placing a hood over the front.

2)Every so often, Shut and rest your eyes

3)Make sure you blink often enough. Each blink refreshes and cleanses the eyes.

4)Refuse to strain your eyes. Keep them relaxed at all times.

5)Sunglasses causes eyestrain for some people but they help others. use polaroid or approved anti glare glasses.

6)Do not read too much on the evening the natural sunlight is much better when you read.

7) Make sure that you have  adequate illumination.

8) Occasionally look on the distant to shake off eyestrain.

9)Go outside 30 minutes before you sleep. Relax, walk around, take a deep breath and do not read anymore before you retire at night.
